Equestrian table. Antique draft horse hames for legs with iron hardware. The wood hames would go on each side of the leather horsehair stuffed collar that fit over the horses head. Chains would then be attach to the hames on each side leading back to a single tree that pulled a plow or other farm implement. Constructed of old reclaimed oak fence boards that were generally 1” x 6” x 16’, with a post being every 8’. The top is banded with reconditioned vintage leather horse reigns. (OBTW reconditioned is an understatement – anyone other than me would have dug a hole and buried them – saddle soap, elbow grease and tons of conditioner required, but they are the real deal and if I do say myself beautiful.
